Existing Products
I began by looking at what was currently available for mp3 speaker products. There were a vast range of speakers made from different materials such as plastics, wood and metal.
Below are some of the products I looked at with my comments about what I liked about them.
Sleek sphere shape also compact
Basic Cube shape with large feature switch
Very compact cylindrical shape
I like the almost retro Hi fi speaker shape of this design.
Good novelty factors of the ghost and Panda speakers

One of my favourites very cleverly giving the impression of surround sound in a very sleek and elegant shape with docking station for mp3 player. I like the idea of being able to stand the mp3 player within the speaker. |
This speaker made from metal gave out the impression of being a more expensive and perhaps a more quality product.
To link with the theme of promoting a web based information service for the 2012 London Olyimpic Games I started to look at appropriate shapes and forms.

Out of these images I really liked the Aquatic centre building as it had a quite unique shape to it that I thought would lend itself to an mp3 speaker.
